“ Decided to try out Jerk Guy Ian after reading some reviews. The reviews were not lying when they said the best jerk chicken in south Florida! I got the jerk chicken plate spicy and the flavor was on point! It has a nice kick but it’s not overwhelmingly spicy. Next time I would probably ask for extra sauce on the chicken because it was so delicious and packed with flavor!! I will for sure be coming back! Thank you Ian for the great food and service! ”

“ 5/26- We came on a tip. I noticed he had regular customers, because he recognized most of them. A few first time customers were there and we all noticed there were no prices or menu, but we asked. A combo plate is $25, two meats and brown rice. My buddy got ribs and chicken. The plate had more ribs than chicken. Well worth it! My plate was Jerk Chicken for $15. The staff was friendly. The portions are large and you have leftovers. The meal was good. He offers a regular sauce or spicy. I tried spicy and it was not hot. It gave it a good flavor! ”

“ I owe this review from weeks ago. Super hungry one Saturday night. Drove with my wife from Hialeah just off the strength of the reviews. Got there and got 3 jerk chicken plates. If you like jerk, this chicken is extra bangin! Cooked well and seasoned perfect. The rice is the cherry on top. It had the right tenderness. I imagine that this rice tastes just like it looks when rice is advertised in commercials. Plus it has a slight sweetness to it. Ian hit this nail on the head. Thank you brother. You’re a nice guy too. You appreciate your customers. We’ll be back! ”

Additionally, the owner invited us to sit down with him next to his stand at a table he had set up. We ended up eating and chatting with him for close to an hour. He seemed like a nice and genuine guy. His hospitality combined with the food made for a good end to our night. ”
